A few years ago my porch collapsed, sending me fifteen feet down onto concrete. Luckily the only injuries to come out was shattering my left foot and spending six months unable to walk at all. After that, I knew that this was the perfect thing to get on my foot. My favorite poet growing up was Shel Silverstein and the poem, Where the Sidewalk Ends, was perfect to represent my situation. This is one of my favorite tattoos to date.
